Quorn. Pioneers Film Fund
We flipped the original brief of a functional ‘brand history’ film on its head, knowing we needed to create something to stand out from the increasingly innovative meat-free brand crowd.
Our response, The Pioneers Film Fund, saw prospective filmmakers pitch their ideas around what the future of food looks like. The winners would then be awarded the sum needed to create their film and land a place on streaming site WaterBear.
Our 360 launch plan spanned design, digital development, social comms and specialised PR outreach, plus full project management of the pitch and production process with the filmmakers’ teams.
The fund received a whopping 130 entries in 4 weeks, with 10 invited to pitch. 3 winning teams went on to create their films, and all were launched on WaterBear and Quorn’s website.

The Pioneers Film Fund project was a great collaboration between Quorn and film-makers, led by Planet Shine, that generated some wonderful and thought-provoking content on a topic that is very important for our brand.
