December 19. B Corp Certification
Challenge
Media planning and buying agency, December 19, had ambitions to become a B Corp certified organisation and reached out to us for help and guidance through the process.
Solution
We began working with December 19 in late 2020 to undertake the initial B Impact Assessment. As a smaller organisation, formalising a few things and implementing some minor changes ensured that they achieved the 80+ points required to certify.
We ran Q&A sessions with the founders and their B Corp project leader. We ensured that all BIA questions were answered correctly and were verifiable, that documentation was up to date, and we made recommendations for short, medium and long-term goals.
The journey to become certified takes a lot of commitment and time, and as d19 is a relatively small business getting the process started was a daunting undertaking. It was at this junction Planet Shine stepped in. Rachel, Laura and the team were fantastic at reassuring us the process was manageable, providing the perfect level of support and guidance to make our ambition of becoming B Corp certified a reality.

Results
We are pleased to say that December 19 have officially been certified as a B Corp organisation with an incredible score of 83.7. Well done to the team at December 19.
