Savage Life 2 sees the Baton Rouge-based rapper joined by such hip-hop luminaries as Bun B, Young Dro, and Birdman, along with a number of his Trill Entertainment/Asylum/Atlantic labelmates, including Lil' Boosie, Foxx, Big Head, and 3 Deep's Mouse, Shell, and Lil' Phat.

The production line-up is equally impressive, with studio contributions from Mouse, Mannie Fresh, B-Real, and BJ. Along with "Independent," the album includes such future singles as the upcoming "Missing You."
